About Us

Homecare Estates was established in March of 1991 during the middle of a very difficult recession, where interest rates peaked at 15%. Having not only survived this difficult time, Homecare Estates has grown and built up it’s client base in both the sales and lettings market with much success. They have prospered by giving their clients high levels of service and by attaining the right results when dealing with their properties, thus securing a good reputation within the area. All their staff are very experienced and professional, approachable and friendly. They not only have good local knowledge that only comes with years of experience but are highly trained to deal with most problems that come their way. The company are members of The Property Ombudsman, which has a strict code of entry and are also members of The National Federation of Property Professionals (NFoPP), which includes the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) and Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA).

Homecare Estates was set up originally by three partners. Although two of the partners are no longer with the company, the remaining founding partner, Simon Capanda, is still here today. He has a wealth of experience having first come into estate agency with a firm called Hampton Levens based in Bromley in September 1988, which were part of the Hamptons group now known as Hamptons International.

Simon Capanda has been a member of the National Association of Estate Agents since 1991 and has always advocated for the need of Estate Agents to be part of a professional organisation, which would give the public peace of mind that they are dealing with competent people in their chosen profession. In fact, he is also a member of ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents) and has recently joined The Guild of Professional Estate Agents.
